SWF Summer News 2016 | News & Info

The Scottsdale Arabian Horse Show and the Arabian Breeders World Cup are two of our favorite shows. At this year's 2016 Scottsdale Show two of Stonewall Farm's homebred fillies competed and did us proud. Tanzania Bey SWF and Arianna SWF were both Top Ten in their classes. Tanzania then went on to compete at the World Cup in Vegas and was Top Five in the AHBA Vegas Futurity. So proud of both fillies, they are beautiful examples of the breeding program at Stonewall Farm.

Immediately after the Scottsdale show foaling season was in full swing and by the end of March we had six beautiful foals on the ground. Over the course of the next few months five more would be born. This year's foals are very impressive, we look forward to sharing them with you and will be adding them as they are photographed to our Foals page.

As a new life begins at Stonewall Farm another comes to an end! We are sad to announce that our mare F Cognacs Fantasy was humanely euthanized due to severe arthritis that had crippled her in her left front leg. Fantasy was twenty-six years old and had blessed us with many wonderful foals including her beautiful daughter Karianna SWF.

At the writing of this news all of the foals have been born and once again we are very pleased with the results. As we all know breeding is like gambling, "you never know what you're going to get", needless to say we feel like this year's foal crop is a winner!

Malik El Jamaal had his second foal crop born this year, his foals are very impressive. Marsai Mara SWF also had his second foal crop and we are extremely impressed as well. We had a few foals by outside stallions born at Stonewall Farm that we look forward to sharing with you as well, a filly by Al Ayal AA out of Eliza Bey SWF, a colt by Kanz Albidayer out of Hibah El Perseus, a colt by JA Urbino and a filly by Om El Sinon out of SWF Desert Rose. We hope to have photos on our foals page soon!

Now that summer is here we are looking forward to the down time, travel and watching the foals grow big and strong. We are always happy to have guests so if you are in the Scottsdale Phoenix area be sure to look us up and have a great summer!
