So far 2011 has been a very good year for the Stonewall Farm breeding program with the sale of two beautiful Marque daughter's. Marianna SWF will be making her home at the beautiful ranch of Gabriel & Cecilia Cardenas in Mexico, Marissa Bey SWF by Marque and El Faridah will make their new home in the beautiful California hills. Four colts now have proud new owners, Versai SWF , Desert Shadow SWF, Stryker SWF and Marchello SWF. We are so proud of these young colts and look forward to their future. Our beautiful straight Egyptian mare Bint Hadiyyah now calls Nayla Hayek's farm in Switzerland home. We also welcome two newcomers to the wonderful world of Arabians, Janet King & Chandler Marks are the expecting owners of the unborn foal sired by Marque and out of our gorgeous WH Justice daughter Miss Justina.
Big congratulations to our friends from Haras Del Mar on the purchase of Focus Vejor’s first-born foal for Stonewall Farm. Karina SWF is the epitome of true Arabian type, we are so excited to see this filly mature.
One of SWF's favorite times of year is foaling season, and we try very hard to be present at each birth. In the spring of 2007 a very special colt was born out of one of our foundation mares SWF Desert Rose and sired by World Champion Al Lahab. Well this little colt has grown up to be a very special young stallion, with a a bit of sadness and a lot of excitement we are so happy to congratulate Al Jood Stud in the beautiful country of Qatar on the purchase of Al Nakeel. Stonewall Farm has retained breeding for our own mares and look forward to Al Nakeel's future with his new owners and his future foals born here in the USA to the mares of Stonewall Farm.

The start 2011 has been amazing year for us here at Stonewall Farm. We had yet again an amazing time during the Arabhorse.com Arabian Farm Tours with over 150 people who came out to see our stallions, mares and sale horses. Each year we have had a different theme to our Farm Tour Open House and this year it was all about the boys! The previous years we have showcased the mares and their offspring so this year we decided to change it up a bit and showcase the stallions and their sons. All of the boys put on a fantastic show with Marque and Al Nakeel closing the show with an appearance in the ring together, these two really now how to put on a show when teased together.
Next we were off to our friend Sheikh Ammar's Ajman Show in the UAE and what a great time we all had. Sheikh Ammar is a fantastic host and boy does he know how to put on a show. Not only were the horses of the highest quality but the entertainment was utterly amazing. The Ajman show has definitely become one of our favorite shows. The UAE has become one of our favorite places to visit and spending time with our friends there is the best part. Thanks to our friend Abdellaziz from Dubai Arabian Stud for taking the time to show use the camel breeding operation of HH Shiekh Maktoum . A camel has been added to the "wish list" here at SWF.
We had a fantastic time at the Dubai Arabian Stud, the new facility is amazing and this years foal crop seems to be gorgeous. Congratulations...love the Royal Colours foals!
Then it was on to the Scottsdale Show and business as usual, again this year's Scottsdale season was a fantastic time for us and one very important event for us was Marque's return to the show ring. As many of you already know Marque suffered a life threatening accident four years ago and the prognosis was not so good. Because of his injury to his leg it was suggest that we put him down, well thank God for miracles and Marque's strong will to survive. Now four years later he returned with his friend and trainer Sandro Pinha to the ring in the Scottsdale International Stallion class. Marque placed third in a very competitive class and we could not have been more proud of him. Both him and Sandro did an amazing job and we think Marque was actually very proud to be back in the ring. We are so grateful for all for your phone calls, text messages, e-mails and kind words regarding Marque and his return to the ring. We look forward to Las Vegas and who knows......!
As we have for the past couple years we had our Scottsdale Open House and presented some of our absolute finest Arabians for our guest. We were so excited to show the world our newest fillies and the mares and stallions that make up the SWF family. Thanks to all of you who came and shared our joy and excitement.
Foaling season has been well under way and what a blessing we have had already. As of this writing we have had five foals and all five amazing fillies! We are blessed and grateful..... Emarra SWF (Ajman Moniscione x PC Scarlett Lace), Eliza Bey SWF (WH Justice x Natalia Bey), Penelope bey SWF (Ajman Moniscione x Natalia Bey), Karrina SWF (l A Karat x Focus Vejora), Karianna SWF (L A Karat x F Cognacs Fantasy). Breeding season is well under way and 2012 will be an amazing year, we have some very special breedings planned and look forward to another brilliant foal crop.
